MEET INFO

The Flat SAC Invitational is held at Gibson Ranch Regional Park. Gibson Ranch is a historic location for high school, college and ultra distance running.  In fact, a large portion of the Flat SAC course covers the same ground traversed by runners competing in the Jed Smith Ultras until 2010. The Flat SAC start line is in nearly the same location as it was in 1980 when high school meets, even the Sac Joaquin Subsection Meets, were held at Gibson Ranch.

The Flat SAC course is mostly grass and compact dirt. The start line is wide and accommodating, allowing for a clean and safe start. Start boxes are marked, numbered, and randomly assigned for each race. The start line count down clock leaves no question to the start of each race. Runners traverse grass through the first 1/2 mile before entering the Dry Creek Trail. Coaches and spectators can watch the race unfold with real-time mile splits.

Flat SAC race features that have now become accustom for athletes and spectators include the Mira Loma Taiko Drum Corp pre-race performances; the PR Bell and living PR Art Wall; and free professional photography.

Flat SAC is a fun day of racing and a great tune up heading into the championship season. We hope to see you there!
